B/W 1500 series relays provide versatile and reliable liquid level control without the use of floats. The 1500-B relay has one normally closed contact, and is commonly used for low level signal control. It can also be used as a high level cutoff when wired in series with a stop button in a 3-wire pushbutton station. B/W 1500 series control relays can only be used to sense conductive liquids. They are not suitable for oil, gasoline, animal fats, and other similar materials. B/W 1500 relays should not be used with flammable liquids. Liquid levels are established by mounting or suspending electrodes in the tank or vessel. Electrodes are sold separately.
