Utilizing the strongest and latest generation, high pinion Dana 44 gear design, G2 has developed a whole new housing to handle the heavy loads that would normally bend the stock housing. G2 housings are engineered to be a direct replacement for the stock Dana 30 or Dana 44, and will accept stock Dana 44 ring and pinions, stock Dana 44 axle shafts, and after-market lockers. The CORE 44 is proudly made in the United States, and includes heavy duty forged inner C ends and 3" x 0.250" thick wall tubing to prevent bending. All brackets are designed around stock mounting points, and are laser cut and CNC formed from 3/8" steel for added strength. G2 has also gusseted and reinforced any weak points to prevent damage tot he brackets. The CORE 44 features a unique adjuster nut system to set back-lash and carrier bearing preload.CORE 44 TJ REAR
