Pure PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) fibers are sintered to create a unique depth-type filter. This PTFE filter offers superior handling and minimal fiber slough-off compared to glass and quartz filters. Naturally hydrophobic, the media will separate aqueous from non-aqueous phases of mixtures. Offers high air permeability and minimal pressure drop which makes it an excellent choice for venting and gas applications. No absorbtion of acid gases. These PTFE filters are biologically inert and resistant to chemical attack. Relatively durable and can be folded. Autoclaveable. Operating temperature range: -120-260°C.
