snippetThe MX-S15D-Set3 is a FlexMount hemispheric network camera complete set 3 consists of the S15D FlexMount core, two 5MP sensor modules (day and night) each with a 12mm fisheye lens, two 6.6' extension cables, two extension sets, a 1.65' (0.5m) ethernet cable, and two white replacement domes. The compact S15D FlexMount is a universally deployable, easily concealable video system with a highly detailed resolution of up to 6MP. The day sensors connect to the camera housing with the 6.6' extension cables. The flat housing, including integrated long-term flash memory (microSD card, 4GB card included), and external connectors (Ethernet, MiniUSB, MxBus, audio) can be installed discreetly and with optimal protection behind a wall or ceiling panel so that only the lenses are visible in the room. This PoE camera requires just one cable for data and power, and connects to any expandable Ethernet network. The entire system including the cables and sensor modules are weatherproof and can operate in a temperature range of -22 to 140°F (-30 to 60°C). Because the camera never fogs up and does not require any heating, it can be operated all year round with power supplied via a standard PoE network cable. The power consumption is less than 5W. Each 5MP hemispheric sensor module features a 12mm ultra-wide angle fisheye lens, which enables the camera to capture 180° hemispheric images. When ceiling mounted, the image area covers the entire room. However, the captured hemispheric image is convex, particularly near the corners. These convex areas of the images are de-warped by the integrated distortion correction software, thereby providing a view of the scene from the usual perspective.
