Compliance with CSA CMG plus additional NEC and UL styles ensures that this cable is suitable for EIA RS-232 applications and more. The individual wires in sizes from 16 AWG to 20 AWG are insulated with PVC per UL1007, and the 22 and 24 AWG wires are insulated with semi-rigid PVC per UL1061.
