A Tool No Truck Should Be Without!

Save thousands of dollars in overtime and frustration by verifying triax cable status right in the field - not back in your shop. You can test for opens and shorts between the center conductor and inner and outer shields using the CTX-TRIAX-TXT battery-powered cable tester. The separate base and remote unit design allows for testing cables that are already installed.

The two piece tester includes a transmitter (male) and a receiver unit (female) with Kings Tri-Loc connectors, which are housed in heavy duty, weather-resistant, powder-coated steel boxes. The CTX-TRIAX-TXT is ready to use with no calibration required. Simply plug the cable to be tested into the respective connectors and switch the unit on by pressing the red button on the transmitter unit. The cable status is instantly displayed. HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) is the industry supported, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface. HDMI provides an interface between any audio/video source, such as set-top box, DVD player, A/V receiver and audio/video monitors, such as digital television (DTV,HDTV) or plasma Monitor. HDMI is small, user-friendly interconnect that provides up to 5 Gbps of bandwidth to support high-definition video plus multichannel audio in single cable. HDMI eliminates the cost, complexity and confusion of multiple cables used to connect current audio/video system.

The Connectronics HDMI 2.0 series is the latest version of high speed with ethernet cable built to support the evolution of 4K compatible HDMI hardware. The HDMI 2.0 standard brings support for 4K@50/60, (2160p) which quadruples the current 1080p/60 standard. In addition, there is support of 32 channels of audio at sample rates up to 1536kHz sample frequency for the highest clarity in audio available. The Connectronics HDMI 2.0 series cable is also capable of simultaneous delivery of dual video streams and multi-stream audio to multiple users (up to four) where hardware supports these features.

About HDMI 2.0!
HDMI 1.4 introduced the kind of bandwidth required to deliver 4K video, but HDMI 2.0 can dole out 4K video without compromise, at 50 and 60 frames per second. In HDMI 1.4, the rate of 4K was limited to 24 frames per second.
