Baileigh heavy duty manually operated straight sheet metal brake. In most sheet metal shops that sheet metal brake is one of the most important machines. And being able to bend full panels is important in productivity. It is 120-inches long and will bend 16 gauge mild steel to a maximum of 135 degrees. What this means for a shop is an 8 feet sheet will fit corner to corner, which open up a world of possibilities. The top beam and bending leaf are made from fully welded plate steel and has support rods for stability. The main pivots, supports and clamp levers are made from high quality cast iron that in then machined to exacting tolerances. The straight brake include a stop rod for repeatability, two heavy duty counter weights to assist when bending full sheets, and a fully welded steel stand that can be bolted to the floor for even more stability.
