The fully multi-coated optics include Ultra Wide Band Coating technology, which enhances light transmission across an extended range of the visual spectrum for enhanced image brightness and resolution and improved low-light performance. The body is O-ring sealed and nitrogen-purged for total waterproof and fogproof integrity, and the external lens surfaces feature a hydrophobic Rainguard HD coating that breaks up water droplets to maintain visibility in wet conditions.
