This Nu-Calgon 4120-08 Alka-Brite + condenser coil cleaner quickly cleans and brightens air-cooled condensers, permanent filters, and other finned heating and cooling coils! Using top-quality detergents and surfactants, this alkaline-based product quickly penetrates greasy soils and oxidation, while its foaming action lifts those particles out of the coil, leaving your equipment fresh and new in no time! It is not recommended for indoor use and should not be used on evaporator coils, coated fin, or micro-channel coils. The 1 gallon bottle makes it convenient to apply on affected areas, once diluted to the correct ratio. <br><br>Application should be performed by an HVAC/R professional. After the equipment is shut off, apply with an appropriate low pressure sprayer. Mix 1 part Alka-Brite + with 4 parts water, adding the water to the sprayer first. Spray the solution onto dirty coils and allow it to remain in contact for 5 - 10 minutes. After, thoroughly rinse with water, applying a coil protectant like CalShield.
