<p><b>Concealed Vertical Rod Exit Device, with Classroom Thumbpiece and Pull, 48 In., Fire Rated, Bright Chrome</b></p><p>9847WDC-F/9947WDC-F Fire exit concealed vertical rod device for use on pairs of doors up to 8'0" x 9' 3" (2438mm x 2819mm) double wood doors, UL listed for fire exit hardware. Devices are ANSI A156.3 _ 2008 Grade 1. The 9847WDC-F device has a smooth mechanism case and the 9947WDC-F device has a grooved case. The concealed vertical rod device is non-handed except when the following device options are used: SS (signal switch). Scalp Plate _ Device is furnished standard with an 8" (203mm) long scalp plate for easy access to rods. Note: Do not use on pair of doors with 9875-F/9975-F. Finishes _ US3, US4, US10, US26, US26D, US28 & 313. US15 and US32D available with 98 Series only.</p><p>The 9847 device has a smooth mechanism case.</p><p><p>The 9847 Series is for use on single or double metal doors, UL listed for panic exit hardware.
