Use this Wooster Stairmaster Type 333FT stair tread nosing to repair damaged step fronts while protecting your patrons and staff from unnecessary injuries. Its 1/8" thick nose with 13/16" underside features a 1" wide Spectra anti-slip filler strip in the front and a 1 1/2" wide Flex-Tred anti-slip tape in the rear for an optimal non-skid surface. This nosing's type 6063-T6 extruded aluminum base is heat-treated and resistant to corrosion for added durability and protection against temperature changes, making it perfect for indoor or outdoor use. Its beveled back provides added safety and protection from slips and falls. Depending on the length of the step, this nosing may terminate 4" from the ends of the step for easy cleaning or be the full length of the step with less than 1/8" of clearance. For added convenience and easy cleaning, the front groove is filled with 16% minimum resilient-type epoxy filler.<br><br>It is durable and built to last under heavy traffic with a high content of aluminum oxide abrasive filler and anti-slip Flex-Tred tape chemically bonded to an integrally designed extrusion channel that boasts an adhesive matrix capable of 7.3 lb. per square inch of peel strength. Plus, the marine black filler color extends uniformly throughout for a consistent and attractive look. For added safety, this nosing is non-combustible and nonflammable as tested under Federal Test Method Standard No. 501a, Method 6411. Installing it is easy and inexpensive with countersunk holes and Tapcon anchors that come standard with each purchase! For best installation results, it is recommended that you use construction adhesive or compound in addition to mechanical fasteners.
