The Altelix NFC161208P NEMA 3X Weatherproof Enclosure is ideal for protecting equipment from harsh environments and tampering. Equipment designed for indoor use can now be located outside.<br><br> Construction and Features<br> This rugged IP65 rated enclosure is molded from durable and UV resistant fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP). The door is fully gasketed making this enclosure suitable for use indoors or outdoors. The lockable door features reinforced hinges and dual quarter-turn latches to secure the enclosure. The enclosure door is locked and unlocked using the included removable keys.<br><br> This base configuration consists of the fiberglass enclosure with hinged lid and a 16 Gauge (1.5mm thick) galvanized steel plate for mounting and securing equipment. The enclosure and plate can be drilled and modified by the installer to suit unique site requirements. <br><br>Integral T-Nut Mounting System<br> Molded into the interior of the enclosure is a versatile mounting system can be used to mount different size and types of equipment mounting plates as well as DIN rails without modifying the enclosure. Designed for use with T-Nuts, they run the full length of the enclosure from top to bottom. This mounting system provides the flexibility needed when configuring the enclosure for specific user requirements.<br><br>Mounting<br>Four mounting feet are included so that the enclosure can be securely mounted to a wall or other structure.
