These beautifully finished, solid brass forged Concord Hinges make it possible to mount 3/8" to 1/2" (10 to 12 mm) thick tempered safety glass shower doors without surrounding frames, so the door has an almost "floating" appearance. Their heavy-duty stainless steel springs allow the door to swing 90 degree in and 90 degree out. A friction cam allows the door to be firmly maintained in any position, except when within 15 degree of the closed position, where they are tapered to assist in centering the door. <br/><b>Using two hinges</b> with 3/8" to 1/2" glass (10 to 12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 80 lbs. (36 kg) with a maximum door width for 3/8" glass of 28" (711 mm) and maximum door width for 1/2" of 26" (660 mm).<br/><b>Using three hinges</b> with 3/8" to 1/2" glass (10 to 12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 120 lbs.
