B/W 1500 series relays provide versatile and reliable liquid level control without the use of floats. The 1500-G relay can be used as a pump up control on supply pumps to fill elevated tanks. It can be used as a pump down control for sewage and sump pumps, condensate return systems, etc. It can also be used as a high level or low level signal control. The 1500-G relay has two normally open contacts and one normally closed contact. B/W 1500 series control relays can only be used to sense conductive liquids. They are not suitable for oil, gasoline, animal fats, and other similar materials. B/W 1500 relays should not be used with flammable liquids. Liquid levels are established by mounting or suspending electrodes in the tank or vessel. Electrodes are sold separately.
