<p>The TZFS-24VDC has been designed for machines where access to a hazardous work area must be controlled, via such mechanisms as machine barrier access doorways. This solenoid safety interlock features independent actuator key position and solenoid-latching monitoring positive break contacts that prevent a machine restarting until the guard is closed and the solenoid-latching pin is in the locked position.</p><p>The switch actuating key is usually mounted on to a movable machine guard and when the guard is closed, the actuating key is held in position. The guard can only be opened by energising or de-energising the latching mechanism. The solenoid-latching mechanism circuit features 2 NC and 1 NO contacts which permit status monitoring.</p>
