Slope Glaze Burners manufactured by Empire Comfort Systems. Special Ceramic Bead materials within the precisely ported burner swirl the flowing gas to produce naturally flickering flames. Glowing embers, included with the burner, add to the illusion of a real wood fire. Vent. All come with piezo ignition and standing pilot. The Variable Remote turns the burner off and on, and lets you vary the flame height to maintain a comfortable room temperature. All vent - free burners include an Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) to instantly shut off the system if oxygen in the room drops to unsafe levels. Empire Comfort Systems also manufactures Vented Burners (without ODS) for use only with an open damper flue. Includes: Glowing embers and an Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS).
