This Arduino Mega is perfect for prototyping circuit using through hole components or adding Schmartboard SMT to DIP adapters to prototype surface mount components with your Arduino project. The through hole grid is Schmartboard's signature offset that allows greater flexibility than standard through hole boards. The board has Pre Routed traces to minimize the use of wire jumpers. It includes all the basic components and a free 170 test point breadboard with an adhesive back. You have a Schmartboard Arduino Mega Surface Mount Prototyping Shield Kit. A user solders his component onto the SMT to DIP adapter using Schmartboard?s patented "ez" technology, and then places the SMT to DIP onto the Through Hole Schmartboard Ardiuno Shield. Included in the package are two .5mm pitch adapter boards for 12 lead DFN components and a row of headers to use the boards with a breadboard. A standard row of headers has been included as a bonus for your convenience.
