This add-on board is the perfect way to add through hole and surface mount components to your Raspberry Pi project. The Schmartboard Through Hole Prototyping Add-On Board for Raspberry Pi has the following unique features: Schmartboard's Signature offset through hole grid which expands part placement options, An extra row of holes for easy access to Raspberry Pi?s General I/O signals, Rows of Power and Ground Strips for easy and flexible power-up and circuit grounding, Pre Routed traces to minimize the use of wire jumpers, A slot for the video cable to keep the circuit clean and unencumbered, Circuits for 4 level shifters to more simply add devices regardless of signal values and a marked area where the Raspberry PI USB and Ethernet Connectors are located to avoid conflicts. It also comes with a Free 170 Tie Breadboard and two 2x13 Headers with enough clearance to cleanly and safely stack onto the Raspberry Pi board. (These headers are custom made for Schmartboard. The pins are the same diameter as standard .1" headers for easy and snug jumper connection). Added to this is Schmartboards SMT to DIP Adapter. This has our patented "ez" technology which means that soldering the surface mount component is simple, and as with all of our "ez" boards, we are the only company with a patented solution for easily soldering surface mount parts. This board is really six boards on one. It contains quantity 2 boards for SOT 23(up to 8 legs), with a .95mm pitch, quantity 2 boards for SOT 323, 353, 363 parts with a .65mm pitch and quantity 2 boards for SC70(up to 6 legs) with a .65 mm pitch. A standard row of 40 headers has been included as a bonus for your convenience.
