This is an aqualube bearing which offers an excellent solution for water lubricated shaft applications. Aqualube bearings are manufactured with longitudinal grooves that form a hydrodynamic wedge, or water film between the shaft and the bearing, even during slow speeds. This water film allows shock absorption reducing
