Some advantages of the Top and Bottom Mount Pivot Hinges include the fact that they carry the majority of the door weight on the bottom hinge, and have the ability to be inset from the door edge, enabling sufficient clearance for towel bars or other projections.<br/> Senior Cardiff Hinges are self-centering, with four strong springs for maximum retention strength. The Senior Cardiff Hinge is adaptable to our Deluxe Header System for enclosures not reaching the ceiling, by utilizing our Senior Adapter Block. <b>NOTE:</b> Must order SRHAB01 Adaptor Block separately. They also can be simply floor and ceiling mounted for doors that do reach the ceiling.<br/><b>Using two hinges</b> with 1/2" glass (12 mm) the hinge will hold up to 145 lbs.
