The ASI Insulated Inline Splice Connectors feature 2 ports with each port accepting 1 wire. The AICD1/0-1 insulated inline connector accepts 1/0-14 AWG and is made of high strength 6061-T6 aluminum which is prefilled with an oxide inhibitor to prevent rusting. It is dipped in black dielectric plastisol. Each wire entry port has a removable plug. The ideal operating temperature range is from -45C to +90C. They are UL Listed with a dual rating for copper and aluminum wire. ASI insulated connectors are functionally equivalent to other multi cable connectors in the market but at a big cost saving. There are nine different models of insulated connectors between the insulated inline splice and multitap connectors. The wire range is as small as 14 AWG up to 750kcmil cable. They feature either slotted or hex screws depending upon the wire size.
