B/W 1500 series relays provide versatile and reliable liquid level control without the use of floats. The 1500-C relay has two normally open contacts. It is commonly used for pump down control for sewage and sump pumps, condensate return systems, etc. It can also be used as a low level cutoff for submersible pumps. B/W 1500 series control relays can only be used to sense conductive liquids. They are not suitable for oil, gasoline, animal fats, and other similar materials. B/W 1500 relays should not be used with flammable liquids. Liquid levels are established by mounting or suspending electrodes in the tank or vessel. Electrodes are sold separately.
