HAMILTON Heavy Service CastersA feature drop forged steel construction placing them among the toughest caster on the market today. -5/16" thick drop forged steel mounting plate on swivel casters; -1/4" thick on rigid casters. -1/4x2" plate steel legs are robotically welded inside and outside to forged steel horn base. Sturdy -3/4" diameter integrally forged kingpin with mounting plate. Main load bearing is 3-1/4" diameter CNC-machined raceway; secondary load bearing has -3/4" precision tapered thrust bearing that counteracts radial thrust. -1/2" diameter axle. Ball check type lubrication fittings in swivel assembly and wheel hubs.
