Tylok's CBC-Lok fittings are comprised of four components: The Body, Front Ferrule (Collet), Rear Ferrule (Collet) and Nut. The front ferrule provides the leak proof seal while the rear collet grips the tubing to prevent it from pulling off. Each fitting is made to strict quality control standards and is fully interchangeable with Swagelok and Parker A-Lok fittings. All fittings are also heat code traceable.<br><br>Stainless steel fittings are subject to the Ty-Core Process, which involves Kolsterising treatment that diffuses carbon into the surface of the steel to increase surface hardness without affecting the stainless steel's quality. A noticeable resilience against corrosion is pronounced when subject to media containing chlorides (sea water, bleach, HCL, etc.). This process also helps eliminate galling and ensures proper sealing on tube end make ups.<br><br>316L stainless fittings have a temperature range from -325 deg F to 1200 deg F and brass fittings have a temperature range from -40 deg F to 400 deg F.
