The flexible fabric enables ease of movement in various work environments. The highly visible yellow finish is easily visible in both bright and dim lighting, offering greater protection for HazMat teams, transportation emergency teams, and emergency response teams.Fully encapsulated suits provide protection from liquid splash exposure for both the wearer and respiratory equipment. Suits are designed with an expanded back to accommodate a self-contained air breathing apparatus (SCBA). The rear entry design eliminates direct contact with chemical exposure and allows users to change SCBA air bottles without removing the entire garment. Taped seams provide strong chemical resistance against heavy liquid splashes. A sewn seam is covered with a strip of compatible chemical-resistant material through heatsealing. A storm flap covers the zipper, and can be further secured with rugged hook and loop material to prevent intrusion. A standard 20mil PVC faceshield also provides coverage from overhead liquid splash. Suits also feature elastic wrist openings, attached socks with outer boot flaps, and two exhaust vents. Thickness meets ASTM D1777.
