The ISOIOM17427 is an isolated I/O à la mods peripheral module designed to stack onto a Raspberry Pi 2/3/4/Zero or the EMBDZ19121 embedded host controller. It provides Multi I/O capability including four DPST 2 (Amp) signal relay outputs and four opto-isolated inputs. This module extends the capability of the Raspberry Pi by isolating some GPIO which protects the processor of the Raspberry Pi and provides a much broader I/O voltage and current range supporting a wider variety of applications. The à la mods Auxiliary Power Bus is supported which allows this module to operate within standard environments such as automotive (12 Vdc) and industrial controls (24 Vdc) well beyond the range of the Raspberry Pi. Additional power pins are provided that are protected with resettable fuses to make sensor wiring simple.
