Tested in compliance with UL10C, UBC 7-2 (positive pressure), ASTM and UL Standards. CRL HSS2000 Smoke Seal is an innovative product comprised of a thin, intumescent material that expands when heated. Just 3/64" thick by 7/16" wide, the flexible strip is effective at temperatures up to 800 degree to seal the air space between doors and window frames. This expansion helps prevent smoke, noxious gases, flames and heat from penetrating into adjacent areas. Seals begin compressing at 250 degree and can be compressed sufficiently to seal openings with 1/16" gaps making door latching easy.<br/><p>.</p>
