Steel platform loading dock is portable, so it also can be utilized as a free-standing loading dock when used with a yard ramp in remote unloading areas. Unit can be used in conjunction with multiple dock boards for transferring cargo between trailers or as a portable shipment staging area. Additional unique applications include placing in front of a dock or railcar door to serve multiple loading/unloading positions at the same time, for use in factories as a portable work positioner, or ordered without a curb to allow a forklift to make a 90&#176;, right angle turn into a trailer.
