ARRI's barndoors come in a wide variety of sizes and fit all ARRI lampheads. In order to enable maximum control while shaping the light, ARRI offers 2-leaf, 4-leaf and 8-leaf barndoors from 3.1" (78 mm) up to 29.1" (740 mm) in diameter. Barndoors narrow the beam spread of a light fixture. They help create a 3-dimensional look to a lighting scheme by placing light in a specific area, or by keeping it away. The more leaves a barndoor set has, or the longer the leaves, the more precisely the beam of light can be controlled.</p>
