He used trees, mist, mountains and the light of sunset (in particular) to symbolize Christian religious themes in a sort of mysterious mood. At the time, this represented a major break from traditional, representational Biblical scenes. He is remembered, too, for exclusively working from German land and seascapes and vivdly coveying northern light.

Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. He sold only one painting during his lifetime, and was little known to the art world at the time of his death, but his fame grew rapidly thereafter. His influence on Expressionism, Fauvism and early abstraction was enormous, and it can be seen in many of his works.

Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. She had a natural musical sense which drew her to the arts; Dancing and Singing. Her artistic inspiration comes from her grandfather, Emileo, who was a natural born artist. He painted in oils on massive canvas which were displayed throughout his apartment and public places in Queens, NY. At the age of 7, Amanda's Grandfather gave her a large canvas to explore her artistic ability. Amanda didn't discover her own unique style until a few years ago, when she sketched a photo of a Lion. Amanda sketched for fun, but then realized she had a natural artistic ability. A few weeks later, Amanda purchased canvas and started creating acrylic paintings. "I was walking in Target with my boyfriend, and noticed the artwork sold there and said to him "why can't my art be sold in here?" She immediately found a contact number, and with the help of TradeMark Art she is now a contracted artist. Amanda is currently creating art pieces for Sears, Overstock, and more.

Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions.
