<p>This Pentek CRFC20-BB carbon filter cartridge reduces chlorine and chloramine in residential and commercial drinking water. It has nominal filtration rating of 20 microns at an efficiency of 85pct. The cartridge is made of granular activated carbon (GAC) media with a spun polypropylene inner wrap for post filtering of carbon fines and a porous polyethylene outer shell. A Santoprene gasket provides a watertight seal. The filter will reduce free available chlorine (FAC) at 2 parts per million (ppm) by at least 75pct in up to 200,000 gallons at a flow rate of 4 gallons per minute (gpm), and reduce 3 ppm chloramines by at least 75pct in up to 25,000 gallons at a flow rate of 2.5 gpm. The filter has an initial pressure drop of 2.5 pounds per square inch (psi) at a recommended flow rate of 5 gpm.
