Growing up in western Pennsylvania, her artist parents were enormous influences, and she admires the work of Mary Cassatt, John Singer Sargent, and Rene Gruau. Anne received her associate's degree in fashion illustration from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Her style of illustration varies greatly from editorial fashion to folk art. She works in a variety of media, including acrylics, pen and ink, colored pencil, and watercolors. In her free time Anne enjoys decorating, gardening, and spending time with her husband, a graphic designer, and two teenage sons.
