When you're doing distance interviewing inside or out, the 4097 CORE Interview Kit gets you up and running quickly and easily. No extra equipment. No complicated setup. No workflow changes. A lighter, more flexible solution lightens your bag and eases your work.

Interview at (more than) arm's length using the 4097 CORE Micro Shotgun Mic attached to an extremely lightweight telescope boom. It doesn't get any easier or lighter (330 g (11.6 oz) without transmitter). The solution collapses down to only about 40 cm (16 in) and extends all the way to 140 cm (55 in)

With its supercardioid polar plot, the DPA 4097 CORE Micro Shotgun Mic offers a highly-directional pick-up pattern as well as low self noise and high sensitivity. The mic is capable of handling high SPLs, which allows it to deliver undistorted natural sound, even when users speak loudly or yell. With a linear response, low distortion and an extremely large dynamic range, it sounds great no matter how challenging the environment. In addition, dialog and background noise off to the side (off-axis) of the microphone preserves the audio quality; it just drops in level.

A flexible broadcast solution for challenging times
The 4097 CORE Micro Shotgun Mic is a lightweight, easy-to-use, multi-purpose problem solver for a range of broadcasting situations -- including interviewing as well as voice over work. It's a professional solution for professional broadcasters.

Due to the highly-directional pick-up pattern, it is easy to focus on what the interviewee is saying. While the speaker's voice is captured clearly in front of the mic, background noises are captured at a lower level (off axis), making the entire interview clear and pleasant to listen to.

In addition, the mic has low self-noise, high sensitivity and is capable of handling high SPLs. Even if the interviewee yells, the sound will still be natural and undistorted.

With a linear response, low distortion and a large dynamic range, this mic captures amazing sound no matter how challenging the environment. In fact, the 4097 CORE Micro Shotgun Mic is outfitted to be used in difficult broadcast locations. The built-in shock mount is handy when distance interviewing.

Rugged enough for film sets
Wind machines, rain machines, tight costumes, quick changes -- these are normal situations on some film sets and they require durable microphones. The 4097 Plant Mic was built to withstand harsh use as well as water, wind, dust, heat, cold and many other tough conditions that can be commonly found both on location and on a film set.

The 4097 CORE Micro Shotgun Mic is outfitted specifically so that it can be used in difficult filming locations like a car. Its foam windscreen protects it from wind noise, even when windows are down (due to tight spaces and camera placement). The built-in shock mount is also particularly useful when filming in a moving car. It has a small, slim, unobtrusive footprint and a black matte, non-reflective surface, which diminishes reflections from lights, making it even easier on the film crew.

Your performance should never be in question. Whether presenting, educating, praising or entertaining, your relationship with your audience is singular. With the Shure SLXD2/K8B-J52 Handheld Wireless Mic Transmitter you can stand confidently on a strong foundation and build the wireless installation to match ongoing demands, from day-long conference to nighttime performances. Shure SLX D Wireless Systems are the digital wireless solutions for small and medium-sized facilities that provide affordable, worry-free UHF-band RF performance, transparent audio quality and streamlined maintenance because of spectrum efficiency, digital audio and ease of setup and rechargeability.

The Shure SLXD includes predictive diversity for extended antenna coverage and improved RF signal-to-noise ratio. It operates within an extended spectrum of UHF (470-938 MHz, region dependent). The tuning bandwidth goes up to 44MHz (selectable RF band) with up to 32 preset compatible channels and is capable of operating up to 10 compatible channels in a 6 MHz TV band or 12 compatible channels in an 8 MHz TV band. The entire system shall deliver high-quality transparent audio, with a flat frequency response over a wide range from 20Hz to 20kHz, providing accurate audio reproduction and a low-latency of 3.2ms. The dynamic range shall be up to 120 dB.

Receivers provide single and dual channel options and have a menu option to guide the user step-by-step in setting up the RF frequency to either initiate new systems or add a new system to existing systems. The receiver shall sync the frequency to the transmitter via infrared lens. Once the system is setup, the receiver can store the configuration and restore it back if the configuration is changed accidentally. Receivers have both XLR and¼" audio outputs. The receiver can select the microphone level and line level output via menu operation.

Shure SLXD transmitters have a high-contrast OLED display indicating channel name, battery status, and frequency. Both the receiver and bodypack/handheld transmitter shall be able to be locked with the options of either locking the menu only, or locking both the menu and power. The transmitter is also be able to be temporarily unlocked and automatically locked back after a certain idle time. Transmitter bodypacks use a TA4M connector as the mic connection. The bodypack and handheld are powered by two AA batteries or the SH-SB903 lithium ion rechargeable battery. The bodypack and handheld shall be able to be docked and charged on a SBC203 dual docking charger.
