Alsa?s 12 oz. Base Pearls all purpose custom paint comes in a specially formulated spray can that delivers a fine, even spray. Our Killer cans have a high output with excellent atomization that eliminates pressure drop during application. Base Pearls use a pearlescent pigment that produces an iridescent luster effect resembling mother-of-pearl. The colors are deep, vibrant and bright. For the best results, we recommend using Alsa's Pure White as a base coat, part number KC-ASB-14, under our Base Pearls. Alsa Base Pearls should be top coated with our high quality MirraClear, part number KC-MCLR for durability and a deep, water-wet gloss look.
Alsa?s 12 oz. Crazer custom paint comes in a specially formulated spray can that delivers a fine, even spray. Our Killer cans have a high output with excellent atomization that eliminates pressure drop during application. Alsa?s Crazer bases are used to create amazing marbleized effects and vivid marble-like patterns. You can create an extremely wide variety of looks, by simply using different ?texturing tools? and techniques, with common plastic wrap being the most popular. This paint can also be used to create a ?brush stroke? look or even a ?snakeskin? or ?wood grain? type of look. The resulting pattern is totally random and no 2 applications are the same. Crazers can be used over any color of existing base coat to achieve a multitude of different effects. It is one of our most versatile paints. You can even use a Crazer paint over an existing Crazer paint, to create a multi-layered effect, with incredible depth. Alsa Crazers should be top coated with our high quality MirraClear, part number KC-MCLR for durability and a deep, water-wet gloss look. For even more variability, try using Alsa?s one shot Killer Candies as your final clear coat.
Alsa?s Mystic Autumn chameleon like paint is made of a very fine color shifting additive that produces flip flop colors. A bit metallic pearl in appearance, these magnificent colors will change dramatically when put over different colored base coats. We recommend Alsa base coats, but you may use any high quality base coat. Alsa?s Mystic paints all use a very fine pigment, for a subtle color shift. (Compare this to Alsa?s SpectraFX pigment, which uses a larger particle size and gives a more sparkly appearance.) Generally sprayed over a black base coat for the most dramatic color shift. This pigment will result in a wide variety of looks when applied over different base coats. Experiment and be creative. This is your time to explore. This paint should be finished with a clear coat for added protection and a deep, water-wet, high gloss look. We recommend Alsa's MirraClear (part number KC-MCLR). Matte top coats, such as Alsa?s Soft Touch coating, make the color shift more subtle.
