Power, Video & Audio that won't let you down
The rugged case with built-in armor houses an arsenal of professional connectivity including full size HDMI 2.0 for signals up to 4K 60p, a HDMI output for playback or play-out to a view finder or other monitors, a hot swappable dual battery system for continuous power backed up with DC mains connectivity, auto HDMI start/stop recording trigger from selected Canon, Sony, Panasonic and Nikon cameras and even conversion of interlace video from your camera to progressive with built-in 3:2 and 2:2 pulldown.

4K60p 10-bit Pro-Res & DNxHR
Recording 4K 60p within the camera might seem enough but recording with the wrong codec restricts flexibility in post and even risks having your footage technically rejected. Ninja Inferno records direct from the sensor as full individual frames just like film to 4K 60p Apple Pro-Res or Avid DNxHR with 10-bit color information and precise yet efficient 4:2:2 color encoding.

Professional Audio Monitor & Recorder
Monitor and record up to 8ch of embedded HDMI 2.0 24bit digital audio. Don't be restricted by the limited audio on most HDMI cameras, truly upgrade to professional levels. We've added an optional 48V stereo XLR breakout cable so you can connect and power external microphones for balanced analogue audio. Audio control is simple with dedicated meters and menus to select channels for recording/monitoring and adjustments for frame delay and gain.

Calibrate for accurate color, Scopes for accurate exposure and focus
All monitors drift in color over time, which is why all high end monitors have calibration. Atomos has partnered with calibration leader X-Rite to allow their i1DisplayPro to calibrate the Ninja Inferno.

With peace of mind on the color front, simply tap the screen to bring up focus peaking, 2:1/1:1 zoom, Zebra, False Color, Frame guides, SMPTE Safe Area, Waveform, RGB parade, Vectorscope, Anamorphic desqueeze and a flexible 3D LUT implementation to upload your own LUTs as .cube files.

Atomos ATOMSHSTU2 Shogun Studio 2 takes state of the art Atomos multi-channel recording technology and combines it with two premium 7" HDR 3000nit* high bright touchscreen displays, all in a single 3RU unit. Its unique combination of features makes it perfect for live events, outside broadcast vehicles, production galleries and MCRs, post production facilities, video wall playout, on-set DITs and sports officiating. Connect to practically any SDI or HDMI source including camera channels, PTZ cameras and vision mixers.

Record multiple formats
The Shogun Studio 2 records either two channels of 4Kp60, or up to eight HDp60 sources in industry standard Apple ProRes, ProRes RAW and AVID DNx codecs. Free your workflow from the constraints of highly compressed GOP based codecs and their associated artifacts. Replace them with clean images captured direct from the sensors of your camera channels using modern Intra-frame codecs.

Both ProRes and DNx are robust, easy to edit, color accurate production codecs used throughout the industry. You can even take this one step further and record ProRes RAW from a wide range of cinema cameras for maximum fidelity.

Playback and Edit
Review or play out your footage directly on the Shogun Studio 2 using the innovative touchscreen controls. Playback and play out up to 4Kp60 video, or 2K/HD high frame rate footage slowed down in the unit itself. Playlists can be created from clips either recorded on an Atomos recorder, or from your edit system in a supported codec, resolution and frame rate.

Master your rack with Shogun Studio 2
The Shogun Studio 2 only takes 3RU of space and has a short rack depth making it perfect for use in monitor bridges or in small mobile broadcast vehicles. Redundant dual power supplies balance the power load. The rear of the Shogun Studio 2 provides grouped connectivity for each of the recorder channels with 12G, 6G, 3G (single, Dual, Quad) and 1.5B SDI I/O, HDMI with support for both the inputs and outputs, plus XLR audio I/O, Genlock and LTC input and loop through.

The Atomos Flame Ninja Flame delivers the world's most advanced 7" field monitor, accurately displaying 10 stops of the luminance detail of Log with 10 bit HDR Post Production color accuracy, for the first time in a field monitor. The AtomHDR engine not only resolves HDR brightness detail (dynamic range), with 10-bit color accuracy it also resolves 64 times more color information than traditional 8-bit panels. For Rec709 standard dynamic range scenes, the 1500nits brightness aids with outdoor shooting as does the upgraded continuous power management system that will keep you shooting longer in the field. Of course you also get the professional 4K/HD ProRes/DNxHR Recording, Playback and Editing that has made Atomos famous.

Burn away the fog of LOG
Camera Log (S-Log2, S-Log3, C-Log, V-Log etc) delivers maximum sensor detail in your recordings, but on monitors it looks washed out & makes judging exposure difficult. The compromise for filmmakers is to use LUT's to get the approximate "look" but sacrifice detail or use calibration cards, waveform & some "rule of thumb" figures to set exposure correct. AtomHDR is the solution, accurately displaying HDR Log footage with the brightness to see Log as the eye sees it.

Scenes Ignite with 1500nits of Light
Not all scenes call for HDR Log recording. In situations that don't call for 10 stops of dynamic range, use the intensity of the 1500nit panel to monitor traditional Rec709 video at high brightness for outdoor monitoring.

Simply pick the right mode, HDR or High Bright, and get busy setting up your shot on the premium 7" display boasting 10-bit processing, 1920x1200 resolution, 325ppi pixel density, optional calibration to overcome natural LCD color drift and an arsenal of precision video setup tools for perfect shots every time.

Simple OS, Sophisticated Shots
The Ninja Flame is packed with an extensive suite of scopes, all 1-touch away and simple to use. The Video OS includes tools for focus, framing & exposure (Focus peaking, 2:1/1:1 zoom, Zebra, False Color, Safe Area, luma/RGB parade, vectorscope) along with a flexible 3D LUT implementation (use built-in LUTs or upload .cube files) and options for de-squeezing anamorphic content.

Continuous power is back... with super fast charging.
Our patented continuous power system pioneered on our HD products are back on the 4K range. The hot swappable dual battery system that automatically swaps to the second battery when power is low, coupled with the blazingly fast battery charger and dual 4-cell batteries (both included with the product) means that continuous power in the field is all but assured.

Advanced DSLR audio monitoring
Record audio as well as video externally on the Ninja Flame. Monitor up to 8ch of HDMI audio or 2ch analog line in on the dedicated audio meters, all locked frame accurate with adjustment for frame delay, gain adjustment and Mic level adjustment when using external microphones (3.5mm unbalanced input).

Advanced recording capability
Outside of 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes/DNx, the Ninja Flame adds recording functionality not found in other recorders. Trigger start/stop recording over HDMI from select Canon, Sony, Panasonic, Nikon cameras. Convert interlace video from your camera to progressive on the fly with built-in 3:2 and 2:2 pulldown and gain advanced functionality like Pre-roll (continuous cache recording to never miss the action) and Time lapse to maximise your creativity.
