The EVC-1181S subwoofer comprises a single 18"" low frequency transducer in an optimally vented enclosure. It was created to complement the 8-, 12-, and 15-inch full range EVC systems, including the EVC-1122/VI Variable Intensity loudspeaker. Like other EVC models, the EVC-1181S subwoofer was designed and voiced to work in systems that use other EV-Innovation loudspeakers (EVF, EVH, EVA, and EVU). The EVC-1181S does not have an internal passive crossover; it requires a suitable active low pass filter and 4th-order Butterworth system high pass filter for proper operation.

The EVC series is an extremely cost effective solution for many fixed-install applications. The enclosures are constructed of 15-mm plywood and finished with EVCoat for enhanced durability. The EV-1181S subwoofer was designed for floor mounting or suspension from its multiple M10 points. All EVC series loudspeakers accept wire gauges up to 10 AWG (6 mm). The input panel also accepts optional covers with NL4-type connectors or weatherized gland-nuts.

For 70V/100V operation, the input panel has an internal landing pad for mounting EV's high-quality TK-150 audio transformer. Adding a TK-150 to the EVC-1181S input panel engages EV's patented Automatic Saturation Compensation (ASC), which preserves low frequency performance while presenting a stable load to the amplifier regardless of how many loudspeakers are connected in parallel. This results in the ability to drive multiple EVC-1181S subwoofers over a 70V/100V drive channel, while still delivering full, rich bass response.

The Electro-Voice EVF-2151D is a high-power, front-loaded bass element that can be used in a variety of applications where high-quality sound reinforcement is required in a lightweight package.

The EVF-2151D utilizes two DVX3159A 15? woofers, developed using FEA optimization for motor, suspension, and electrical design to ensure very low distortion and maximum intelligibility at high SPL.

The EVF-2151D?s features make it a professional loudspeaker for any fixed install application. The trapezoidal enclosure is constructed of weather-resistant birch, and coated with EVCoatTM for protection from the elements. For maxiumum protection against extreme outdoor elements, a fully-weatherized fiberglass version is available. The unique acoustic and rigging design allows for vertical and horizontal clusters to be built using any combination of loudspeakers from the entire EVF and EVH series. With an assortment of full-range, low-frequency, and subwoofer loudspeakers available, you have the tools to maximize flexibility of system design, no matter what the application or budget. The innovative input panel provides a choice of Phoenixstyle connector (included in all standard models) or the ability to add a dual NL4-type connector cover plate or gland-nut cover plate (for weatherizing applications). An externally accessible jumper selects passive or active operation. An available 70.7/100-V transformer kit may be easily mounted to the input panel for use in distributed systems. All these features give you the flexibility to address a large range of venues, quickly and precisely supporting customer requirements with fewer items in inventory.

The Electro-Voice EVU series EVU-2082-95-W is a compact high power 2-way loudspeaker system used in a variety of applications where high-quality sound reinforcement is required in an ultra compact light-weight enclosure. The enclosure design utilizes asymmetrical angles to maintain tight clearances to wall and ceilings while providing optimal coverage patterns making it ideal to blend into surroundings.

This design is optimized for wall, stage lip and under balcony applications. The EVU series incorporates the ICT (Install Compact Transducer), a high-output 1.3-inch titanium compression driver coupled to a Constant Directivity 90 x 50 rotatable waveguide. The EVU woofers are developed using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) optimization to provide the highest sensitivity while achieving the highest level of speech intelligibility.

The crossover designs uses 18dBper octave slopes with equalization for very smooth response in the vocal range, linear off-axis response and a protection circuit for long term reliability. The EVU line is constructed of multi-ply hardwood plywood enclosure with six (6) integral M8 suspension points to support a wide variety of mounting positions.

The EVU system is finished in textured paint available in either white or black. Each EVU system includes a universal U-Bracket to facilitate mounting. The U-Bracket provides for a 330° unobstructed, translation of the loudspeaker. Additional mounting points are located on the back of the enclosure for use with an Omnimount type bracket, available from Omnimount Inc. An available 60W transformer kit is easily mounted over the input panel for use in distributed systems.

The XLC family is designed to provide the highest quality performance for a variety of applications. It is comprised of two full range systems; XLC127DVX (120° line-array element), XLC907DVX (90° line-array element), and two subwoofers; XLC118, XLC215. The XLC127DVX uses a DVX3121, two DVN2065 neodymium midrange transducers, and two ND6 high frequency transducers. The DVX3121 is a high performance low frequency transducer with forced air, directional voice coil cooling for high power and efficiency. The suspension and magnetic circuit were optimized for long, linear travel to provide low distortion and greater LF extension in a lightweight transducer. The DVN2065 transducer utilizes neodymium to provide very high output with lightweight and lower distortion. The 3-Way design is comprised of; a 12" vented LF, 2 x 6.5" MF transducers on a 120° horizontal waveguide, and 2 x 3" HF transducers combining through Hydras on a 120° x 7° waveguide. It can be used in tri-amp mode, or bi-amp 3 -way using the optional sophisticated internal 24 dB/octave passive MF to HF network. The asymmetrical box design was optimized to produce a symmetrical polar pattern with a uniform power response. Designed for use in groups of four or more the XLC127DVX delivers predictability and control. Combined with an advanced integrated rigging system, one-man installations are a reality. XLC systems can also be ground stacked. Ideal for applications ranging from live reinforcement to performing arts venues to houses of worship, to sports facilities, XLC can deliver unprecedented performance, particularly in difficult
acoustical environments.
