The Isopore membrane is a polycarbonate, track-etched screen filter recommended for all analyses in which the sample is viewed on the surface of the membrane. Isopore membrane offers distinct advantages for the analysis of airborne contaminants and other particles using optical or electron microscopy. The Isopore membrane is composed of polycarbonate film, which has a smooth, glass-like surface for clearer sample observation. The unique manufacturing process of the membrane ensures a precise pore diameter and a consistent pore size for accurate separation of samples by size. Isopore membranes do not stain resulting in low background interference. Clearing is not necessary for most transmitted light microscopy. Matched-weight filters are not usually required because of low, constant tar and ash weights. Isopore membranes are non-hygroscopic, which permits rapid drying and reduced sample analysis time. Filter material: Polycarbonate. Media brand name: Isopore. Refractive Index: 1.6. Bubble point at 23 degree C: >= 1.33 bar, air with water. Filter type: screen filter. Pore size (?m): 0.6. Filter Diameter, mm: 13. Filter code: DTTP. Filtration device and accessory type: Filter Discs/Sheets. Filter color: White. Thickness(?m): 28.

Two 25mm monitor types are available: a 3-piece polystyrene monitor with 16mm center ring and female Luer slip vacuum connection, and a 3-piece carbon-filled polypropylene conductive monitor with 50mm extension cowl. Aerosol analysis monitors are available with 0.45?m and 0.8?m cellulose esters membranes. Matched weight monitors contain two filters matched in weight to within 0.1 mg, eliminating test filter pre-weighing in gravimetric analysis. Pore size (?m): 0.8 / 5.0. Filter diameter: 25mm. Filter code: AAWP. Filter color: white. Filter surface: plain. Sterility: non-sterile. Filtration area, cm squared: 4.
