The XL48 integrates 8 XL4 type preamps with high-pass and low-pass filters in a 1U rack as well as 8 XL8 type A-D converters with a clock whose variation in the information transfer delay (jitter) is 1 ppm. The MIDAS XL48 has analog and digital outputs in AES/EBU and ADAT formats.
