Based on the same principle of the Total RNA Kit I, the E-Z 96Â Total RNA Kit is designed to isolate total RNA from cells and soft tissues in a 96-well plate format. Up to 5 x 10^5 cells and 10mg of soft tissues can be processed in each well of the E-Z 96Â RNA plate. This kit allows single or multiple simultaneous processing of samples in less than 60 minutes. There is no need for phenol/chloroform extractions, time-consuming steps such as CsCl gradient ultracentrifugation, or precipitation with isopropanol. Purified RNA is suitable for most downstream applications such as RT-PCR, qPCR, differential display, and microarrays.
