Mirka pad protectors are designed to protect the pad from wear, when sanded aggressively and continuously with mesh products. These cost-effective pad savers, placed between the backing pad and sanding disc, should be changed regularly. Trivets extend the life of the backing pad. Match the hole pattern of the screensaver to the backing pad by locating the matching holes on the screensaver to the locating points on the backing pad. Apply and press the dust protector firmly onto the backing pad. Attach the abrasive to the pad protector. Place the sander on the object to be sanded and then start the sanding machine.
