Omni Antenna Repeater for Long Range – Includes mounting hardware. The Long Range, Omni Antenna is installed in conjunction with the US version of the Long Range, Wireless Repeater (#7653, 7654) to retransmit data over longer distances than a wireless repeater with a dipole antenna. The long range, wireless repeater requires two antennas, one to acquire weather station data and the other to re-transmit the data. The Omni Antenna is a standard 5 dBi Omni - directional antenna that comes equipped with an integrated polarity TNC male connector that connects to the long range, wireless repeater. Use with Long Range Repeater to extend range up to 1,560' in all directions. Each repeater requires two antennas. You can combine Omni and Yagi antennas to collect data from all directions and transmit in a single direction, or vice versa. Note: FCC rules require US customers to select the Omni antenna (#7656) or the Yagi antenna (#7660); Customers outside the United States must purchase Third Party Antennas in compliance with local regulations.
