If you’ve worked on any type of coilover shock you know how difficult it can be to work with a spring under tension. Thankfully Motion Pro created their Shock Spring Compressor to give you an easy, safe way to release all the spring’s stored energy so you can get your shock apart for servicing. The compressor works by attaching to the clevis/eyelet end of your shock, adjusting to the proper retainer size, and bracing itself against the spring. From there you’re free to run down the threaded rod and release the tension that’s keeping the spring retainer in place. There will be plenty of room to reach in and remove the snap/retaining ring and remove the retainer, letting you keep on with the servicing and making a difficult job that much easier. -Lifetime limited warranty
