Multi-View Style 23 is a optical grade titanium frame sized for the average male head size. Available in either a smooth Satin Brown or Gunmetal frame finish, this is a very high end, optical quality frame. Made by Multi-View Optical, these computer reading glasses feature specially designed lenses that allow you to see both close-up AND intermediate objects clearly and comfortably. The thin, light weight lenses automatically change in power without any lines! Plain readers only correct for your reading distance. Objects that are just inches further away may appear blurred or even distorted. This is because the power that allows you to see an object up close is too strong for viewing intermediate objects like your computer screen. This optical quality frame uses a CR39 aspheric designed scratch resistant lens with no visible lines. You should know that most glasses advertised as computer reading glasses are inexpensive cheaters with an added anti-glare coating, or a very subtle tint, to reduce glare and reflection. The magnification of normal reading glasses functions at the distance at which you would comfortably hold a page to read it - 14 to 18 inches. Our Multi-View lenses are multi-focus lenses with two levels of magnification for near and intermediate distances. Order your normal reading glass strength which and the lens will have this power on the bottom of the lens, with a .75 power difference on the top 1/2 of the lens. If you normally wear a +2.0 strength, your Multi-View lens will have a +2.0 on the bottom of the lens and a +1.25 on the top 1/2: basically a no-line multifocal (occupational) lens.
