Chisel handles are European Beech with an octagonal cross section and are 4 inch long by 5/8 inch wide. As with all fine carving tools, these will need final sharpening/honing to fully refine the edges before use. This chisel set is an excellent value for good quality tools and will make the perfect starter carving set or addition to an existing set.
