PedestalPod 70-degree models are for mounting a single fishfinder or chartplotter on the deck (6.5" diameter mounting area required). Conveniently positions the display 12" above the deck at a 70-degree angle, allowing anglers to easily view and operate the display. The 360-degree single-axis swivel adjustability provides customized positioning and allows boat covers to fit over the housing with ease. All NavPods are made from high gloss acrylic-capped ABS material. The ABS provides excellent durability and structural rigidity, important for minimizing flexing under stress, which results in more uniform pressure on the outer seal. The acrylic cap provides UV protection and a clean, glossy look. All NavPods are manufactured with a double gasket system, providing an excellent watertight seal to protect your marine electronics from the elements. NavPods are made to withstand the harshest wet offshore boating conditions. The internal Poron Microcell Polyurethane gasket is not subject to compression set like many rubber compounds, so it will continue to provide a seal over time. NavPods are secured with nickel chrome-plated stainless steel tamperproof screws, providing theft protection with a little style!
