NavPod RMX4500 RailMount Un-Cut (usable face = 9.94"w x 5.99"h)(25.25cm w x 15.22cm h). RailMount NavPods are for mounting electronics to a vertical rail (1" or 1.25" diameter rail--other sizes require modification). The RailMount arm has a 0.75" diameter opening for running cables (please note that large cable plugs--such as transducer cables--may not fit through this opening). Features 360-degree single-axis swivel adjustability so you can view your instruments while seated at the helm, or rotate the display to view it from under the dodger on a rainy day. All NavPods are made from high gloss acrylic-capped ABS material. The ABS provides excellent durability and structural rigidity, important for minimizing flexing under stress, which results in more uniform pressure on the outer seal. The acrylic cap provides UV protection and a clean, glossy look. All NavPods are manufactured with a double gasket system, providing an excellent watertight seal to protect your marine electronics from the elements. NavPods are made to withstand the harshest wet offshore boating conditions. The internal Poron Microcell Polyurethane gasket is not subject to compression set like many rubber compounds, so it will continue to provide a seal over time. NavPods are secured with nickel chrome-plated stainless steel tamperproof screws, providing theft protection with a little style!
