The Neumann Multi Pattern Microphone is a modern development of the classic U 67 and contains the K 67 mic capsule. An upgraded, transformer less circuit design closely reproduces the sound characteristics of the U 67, without the inconvenience and maintenance of tubes.In honor of Neumann's 80th anniversary, the TLM 67 features a 3D metal emblem of Georg Neumann on the front of the stylish pearl-gray body. The microphone's dual-diaphragm capsule is shock mounted inside the microphone to eliminate handling noise. There are 3 selectable polar patterns; cardioid, omni and figure 8, providing terrific versatility. The TLM 67 also offers a switchable -10dB pad and a high-pass filter to suppress low-end noise or compensate for proximity effect. Because of its versatile polar patterns and ability to handle high SPLs, the TLM 67 is great for use as a vocal mic or as a main or spot instrumental mic. K 67 Capsule The TLM 67 uses the K 67 dual diaphragm capsule to closely emulate the sound of the classic U 67 microphone. The capsule is shock mounted inside the mic to reduce handling noise.
