The blank extension box is used for mounting on 3-1/4 in. and 4 ft. conduit boxes or other recessed outlets. One can use it as a pull box, J-box or for fixture stems. The blank extension box can be used with both series 500 and Series 700 raceways. It is not for use with ceiling fans or mounting any equipment greater than 7 lbs. 10-32 ground screw provided with your purchase of the blank extension box.
