The NOCO G750 features a high-frequency, high-efficiency switch-mode design, resulting in a charger that's compact and lightweight. An auto-memory function returns the charger to the last selected mode when you restart it. Thanks to NOCO's Rapid Charging Technology, the G750 charges batteries two times faster than traditional linear battery chargers. With Abnormality Protection, the charger automatically shuts off if it's been left in bulk charge mode for an extended period of time. The charger is also designed to adjust automatically to changing current needs and prevent reverse polarity, short circuits, open circuits, sparks, overheating, over-currents, and overcharging. The NOCO G750 uses a five-step process to charge and maintain your battery. First, it checks your battery's voltage to make sure that the connections is good and that the battery is in stable condition before beginning the charge process. Second, it begins a bulk-charging process with a gentle (soft) charge. Third, it continues bulk-charging and returns 90-percent of the battery's capacity. Fourth, it brings the charge level to 100-percent by delivering small amounts of current to provide a safe, efficient charge and limit battery gassing. And fifth, it monitors the battery voltage to determine whether a maintenance charge should be initiated. The maintenance cycle is repeated to keep the battery at full charge, without overcharging, and the charger can be left connected indefinitely.
