The Moisture King Dehumidifier Rod is placed in a low place inside your safe. As the air at the bottom of the enclosed area is mildly warmed, it becomes lighter and it begins to rise and forces the cool moist air down. The cool moist air is then warmed and caused to rise, thus causing a circulation effect to reduce the moisture in the enclosed area. The rod is AC powered. The safe must either have a preinstalled 3/8 in. hole drilled in the back of the safe, or be set up with internal AC power. The cord is detachable and will go though a 3/8 in. hole in the back of the safe. For safes without preinstalled AC power or a 3/8 in. hole drilled in the back, please use a Silica Gel Dessicant Pack.
